Cat’s Away…But Missed No Matter How Much Play

She’s been in Europe for almost 2 weeks now, part of her 6 week visit with family. Most guys (well, every guy I’ve ever known) would use this as an opportunity to go crazy and cheat. Most girls would too (might as well have an affair while abroad, almost doesn’t seem like it counts).

But we in the swinging lifestyle are an exception.

Not because we won’t go a bit crazy and party. We will. I certainly have. Last weekend I went to parties on Friday night, Saturday night, Sunday pool party, and Monday 4th of July party. I drank. I flirted. I had sex with several different girls (all but 1 is married); all of whom, of course, are swingers just as we are.

And she has done the same…and more…over there. Being bisexual, she loves both girls and guys, and isn’t shy about acknowledging how much she loves a good orgasm.

How do I know? Because we talk about it. We share stories. We show each other photos if we had the time and ability to snap a few. No lying, no cheating, no deceit, no guilt.

The whole idea of swinging is “it’s just sex”. We already have a relationship, and that’s solid. But we are free to pursue our social and carnal needs, without fear of it affecting our relationship. So just as she (or I) might go to lunch with a friend (or group of friends), or might go to the beach with people, so we might have sex with them too. It’s fun. It feels good. And that’s the end of it. There’s no threat to our relationship…in fact, just the opposite, since repression, cheating and guilt are removed from the equation we are happier and better together than the majority of people.

So that cat is away. About 7,000 miles away. And I am partying and having sex. So is she. But while those things are nice and fill some time, they don’t replace her, or “us”, and I miss her so much it hurts.

Sin City Swingers Party Weekend in Las Vegas

It’s the start of another weekend, and we’re still recovering from the last one. But oh, what a series of parties!

It started Wednesday, with friends and Kasidie members arriving in town. People grouped together and went to the new Stripper Murder Mystery play. Sexy and fun. After which some people went to a late dinner while others hooked up for some playtime.

Thursday evening with Girls Uncorked, the monthly wine party for women in the lifestyle that happens the 3rd thursday of every month in 19 cities around the country. The Vegas chapter had a lot of visitors this month! The girls drank and talked, and talked and talked. Wrapping up around 10:00pm when the guys arrived to fetch their inebriated wifes and girlfriends. Some stayed at the hostesses house for a private after-party, some went to check out the new Hustler Club, but most locals headed home due to work the next day. But it was an AMAZING party and all the girls had a blast.

Friday was a party at Kasidie Mansion, hosted by Scott and Nicoleta, with a Playboy theme. Over 120 couples and 10 single girls (no single guys) were dressed in theme…most of the girls in skimpy lingerie and many in full Playboy Bunny outfits. DJ’s Cynful and Synchronicity provided the music as people danced, flirted and played until 4:00am. The vibe was absolutely amazing, just fantastic energy. The sad thing about being the hosts at a party is that as much as we say “we’re not going to work, we’re going to enjoy the party and have fun” the reality is that we always wind up working and rarely get the chance to play. But the guests sure did…there were 10 play areas set up around the house, and they were all going crazy with hot, naked couples from start to finish!

Saturday started with a pool party at the Palms. We had a 2 story bungalow and a cabana filled with hot, string-bikini’d girls and their guys. It’s not a topless pool (boo!) but the bikini’s were skimpy and cokctails flowed continuously. A good start for the evening.

Saturday night kicked off at Posh, the new nightclub at the Crazy Horst III strip club. Lasers, great DJ’s, girls dressed in clubwear with very little fabric. We got there at midnight, met people, danced, and flirted until 2:00am when we headed to the after party in the Crib Suite at the Palms. The girls were naked almost from the start, and people were playing in both bedrooms, in the shower (with a stripper pole in it), in the jacuzzi, and even on the pool table in the living room. Complete debauchery and a lot of fun. We left at sunrise, the first one we’ve seen in awhile, with huge smiles on our faces (and a “sore pussy”).

Sunday was all about being topless and flirty at the pool. Everyone partied at the Artisan, where we had cabanas, daybeds and a sectioned off area. The vanillas just watched as our girls flirted with each other, gave lap dances and had a great time in the sun. We left at 6:00pm, exhausted from a long weekend of fun. Did we really have to go back to work? Ahhh….well at least next weekend is Memorial Day!

How many times will we hook-up at Desire, Hedo, on a swingers cruise, or on a swinger trip?

The short answer is “less than you might think“.  We have gone on vacations and trips, both as part of a group and by ourselves. We’ve had fantasies of sex several times a day, every day. The reality, for most people (including us) is quite different.

Keep in mind the lifestyle axiom that you come for the sex, but stay for the friendships. Think of all the people you’ve met, some of whom you are close friends with but for one reason or another just haven’t played with. These resorts and trips aren’t any different.

Just like your local club or house party, a resort or cruise ship isn’t about indiscriminate sex. There has to be sexual chemistry. Sure, alcohol and skimpy clothes (or no clothes) combined with an exotic location far away from home certainly leads to removing inhibitions…but that doesn’t mean changing the core of what turns you on.

So, to more directly answer the question, you can usually count on hooking up about 2 times on a one-week vacation. Sure, some people are rock stars, with great game and an assertive approach and thus blow that average away. And others are shy, slow to say “hi” and introduce themselves and may wind up not playing with anyone other than their significant other.

You can change that average though. Here’s how!

• Get in shape before you go as best you can
• Go with a group you have a pretty good idea that you fit in with
• Dress hot, bring clothes that make you look AND FEEL sexy
• Don’t get completely shitfaced drunk
• Be respectful, they may or may not be into you but until you ask THE question, “do you guys want to play”, you won’t know for sure (and take a “no thanks, not right now” gracefully)
• AND MOST OF ALL – Be assertive, everyone is there to be social so don’t sit back and wait for others

And if it doesn’t work out? So what…you still got to spend a week away from work, family, stress and were able to hang out in a fun, uninhibited environment surrounded by hot eye candy. And you probably had some of the best sex of your lives together.

Our 1st annual takeover of Desire Cancun was incredible! Incredible experiences…fantastic new friends…what a life we all live! And we’re gonna do it again…

With the weather trends (a Cat 5 hurricane is headed for Cabo even as we write this, and it rained the entire month of Sept in Cancun) we’ve decided to shift the annual trip date to April or May…stay tuned for details. Then we’ll do an end-of-summer hotel takeover in Las Vegas over the long Labor Day weekend!
